Autodesk is a software company based in San Rafael, California. Founded in 1982, it is most commonly known for it's flagship AutoCAD software for computer-aided design. Autodesk has 9 million users worldwide, in 750,000 companies (including each of the Fortune 100) and 50,000 educational institutions.[1][2]

Autodesk Clean Tech Partner Program[edit]

Autodesk has established the Autodesk Clean Tech Partner Program to promote the development of early-stage clean technology companies. Their Clean Tech Sotware Grant, valued at $150,000, provides emerging energy technology companies the software design tools necessary to develop digital prototypes of new clean technology solutions.[3]
