Summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts provides liability relief and financial incentives aimed to encourage cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated sites. Financial incentives include encouraging private sector lending to developers, low-interest loans and grants for site assessment and cleanup, and tax credits.
