Summary
In order to meet Arizona's 22% energy reduction by 2020 goal, APS offers energy efficiency incentives to multifamily building residents. CFLs, thermostat shut-offs and water controls are offered as part of the free energy assessment program to residents and common areas upgrades are incentivized through rebates to building owners. The program also provides incentives for new construction and major renovation multifamily projects. Developers can qualify for a rebate by building to APS energy efficiency standards.
