Summary
Participating customers are eligible to receive a $75 coupon for use toward A/C and heat pump efficiency services performed as a result of the program’s tune-up analysis. Residential and small commercial HVAC contractors that service customers served by SWEPCO may apply to participate. Contractors that wish to participate enter into a contractor partnering agreement that specifies the program requirements. Contractors are trained on the A/C tune-up process and provided incentives and discounts on the cost of field equipment designed to diagnose and quantify energy savings opportunities. Energy savings are captured through the correction of A/C system inefficiencies identified during the tune-up activities. At this time, residential and small commercial customers of SWEPCO are eligible to receive incentives in this program.
