Provides annual renewable energy consumption by source and end use between 1989 and 2008. This data was published and compiled by the Energy Information Administration.

These two datasets include energy statistics for the European Union (EU). The statistics are available from the European Commission. The data includes detailed information about: production, net imports, gross inland consumption, and electricity generation for the EU as a whole, as well as the individual member countries, for the period between 1990 and 2007.

This table lists total primary energy consumption by country and region in Quadrillion Btu.  Figures in this table are annual totals for the years 2004 through 2008.  This data has been imported from EIA's

The UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) developed energy consumption data at the regional and local authority levels. The data, which are classified as "National Statistics", fall into five categories: electricity, gas, road transport fuels, other fuels (includes: coal, industrial petroleum, renewables, manufactured solid fuels), and total energy. Annual data available for 2005 - 2008. "Sub-national" level includes LAU1 areas.

UK National Statistics on overall energy production and consumption are presented in Chapter 1 (Energy) of the Digest of UK Energy Statistics (DUKES). Annual data is available for aggregate energy balances and value balance of traded energy (1998 - 2009), as well as electricity and gas sales by sector, energy consumption by industrial groups, and fuels consumed for autogeneration (2005 - 2009). The energy consumption data consists of five spreadsheets: "overall data tables" plus energy consumption data for each of the following sectors: transport, domestic, industrial and service. Each of the five spreadsheets contains a page of commentary and interpretation.
