Dataset Summary | |
|---|---|
| Description | This dataset is part of a larger internal dataset at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) that explores various characteristics of large solar electric (both PV and CSP) facilities around the United States. This dataset focuses on the land use characteristics for solar facilities that are either under construction or currently in operation. Data on a majority of large (greater than 500 kW) solar installations in the US was collected through the fall of 2010. Basic statistics were done on the data to explore the land use requirements for modern solar facilities in the US. |
