Dataset Summary

Description

This is the supporting spatial data for the USGS World Petroleum Assessment, published in 2000. The assessment is the result of a five year effort to estimate the quantities of conventional oil, gas, and natural gas liquids outside the US that have the potential to be added to the reserves in the 30-year period from 1995 to 2025.
