Description
*A special rate is available to commercial rate and alternate industrial rate customers using one or more electric heat pumps for space heating. Qualifying heat pumps shall have electric resistance supplemental heat or no supplemental heat. Each qualified consumer must make application to the city before rate will apply; *And during each of the 7 winter months of October through April, up to 250 kwh per KW of connected heat pump kW (excluding supplemental electric resistance heating kW) shall be billed at $0.06048 per kwh. Heat pump heating kwh shall be the last kwh billed and shall not exceed 50% of the total kwh billed each month.
