Description
*Customers with Load Management Switches: The rate in excess of 1500 kWh per month for the billing dates during the months of December, January, February and March for residential accounts having both an electric heating and air conditioning system and an electric water heater with city controlled load management switch(es) shall be $.0620 per kWh. *The net monthly bill computed according to the above schedule shall be subject to adjustment based upon the City's Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment. Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment The amount charged for each kWh of energy sold by the City shall be increased or decreased by an amount equal to: WPCA = { [ ( D + C ) / K ] - B} / .95 Where: D = The sum of the greater of the total dollar amount paid or the amount that would have been paid for wholesale purchased power cost for the current month assuming there was no load reduction during the peak period(s) used by PMPA to establish the city's wholesale billing demand plus a monthly recovery amount of non-budgeted operations and maintenance expenditures required to deliver the wholesale purchased power. C = An amount equal to a correction for over or under collection of D. K = Total kilowatt-hours purchased for the current month. B = Average wholesale power cost per kilowatt-hour purchased corresponding to the respective months.
