Self-Generation Rate Monthly Rate - System Size 51 - 400 kW - Large General * The Self-Generation Rate is available as an option to all electric service customers who own, operate and maintain their own generation equipment. * Plant Investment Fee per kWh= $0.00514 * Monthly minimum bill= $77.98 * Consumption will be measured monthly and in the event net metering is negative in a given month, such that the customer's generation system production is greater than the customer's consumption, there will not be a monthly cash credit for such production. All such excess energy, expressed in kilowatt-hours, shall be carried forward from month to month and credited against the customer's energy consumption, expressed in kilowatt-hours, in subsequent months. In the event that a negative net consumption balance remains after twelve consecutive months following the effective date of customer's commencing on the Self Generation Rate, or any annual anniversary thereafter, the City will pay the customer for such negative balances at the Self Generation Buyback Charge Rate.
