This is a mandatory rate for customers contracting for secondary electric service for one year or more for general commercial, industrial or governmental purposes, and whose energy consumption is equal to or greater than 30,000 kWh a month for any 3 months out of 12 month period. Also available, on a voluntary basis for a period of one year or more, to a limited number of secondary customers who utilize renewable energy systems (wood excepted), energy storage systems requiring electric energy as the supplemental or sole source, or those who generate electricity in excess of their own needs.
